The Graftonbury’s are carefully line-bred to my
original blueprint, the World famous Sh Ch
Graftonbury Genghis Khan. Thanks must go to
Francis and Bob Jackson at Kennel Mompesson and
Janice Fennell of Kennel Amichien for her
financial support. Bob and Frances imported a
Khan grandson, Clanach Crown Destiny, from
Australia and then let Janice purchase Mompesson
Here Say and Mompesson Flashback who are the
foundation stock of Janice’s Amichien line which
is now part basis along with (Ceri-Anne)
Calmolly Puddleduck of Graftonbury of all the
latest Graftonbury s. This has enabled me to
re-establish my original lines after an appx
13-year absence from breeding. And most of all
very special thank you to Show Champion Amichien
Monte Christo of Graftonbury and Amichien Second
Time Around for Graftonbury both bred by Jan in
her first Amichien litter, as both played a
leading part of the reformation and put
Graftonbury back on the map.
The Graftonbury’s are now an infusion of several
different kennels, all with the same basic
interpretation of the breed standard and goals.
The Graftonbury influence can be seen throughout
Europe, Australia, New Zealand and beyond
I have been a UK Championship judge in ESS since
1985 and have also judged the breed in Denmark,
Sweden and Finland plus I have judged most other
gundog breeds at open show level. I hold the
unique record in ESS of winning the dog CC 4
times and a RCC at Crufts plus the group with
the same dog Graftonbury Genghis Khan
Graftonbury English Springer Spaniels will
temporarily cease breeding, but I have just
started a new venture: A Home Pet Sitting
Service for breeders and will still be available
to judge home and abroad. |
